The Certificate in Clinical Supervision is extemley popular and participants come from many sources such as Social workers,Probation officers,Teachers,Counsellors Therapists,Psychotherapists and many from the Caring professions.
The course is aimed at people who may want to learn Supervision for the first time, people who have been asked to run Supervision sessions/groups in their organisations to experienced Supervisors that wish to refresh their Supervisory skills.
The Supervision course covers many topics such as a detailed look at what Supervision is, and what it is not! After this we look at Three specific models of Supervision.
1.The Procedural model of Supervision
2.The Seven eyed model often called the Process model.
3.The Professional development model.
These models are discussed in detail, and are demonstrated by the Trainer,then practiced by the participant.
This makes for a rich training course which attends to people learning needs from Experiential learning to diadatic teaching.
This mix of Teaching is a feature of the Clinical SupervisionTraining course ,and this brings good feedback from participants on the course in their final feedback.
The Supervision course are usually run three times a year, with the First course commencing January till April , the Second April till June, the Third September to December.
Each course comprises of 5 days over a Three or Four month time frame and carries at the completion The Certificate in Supervision.
